Home electronics retailer hhgregg has restructured its marketing and merchandising teams as part of an effort to help the company boost sales.
Chris Sutton has been named the company’s svp/marketing. Formerly vp/marketing, Sutton will have oversight on all marketing initiatives as well as hhgregg’s growing e-commerce channel. He will also continue to lead the company’s digital and traditional marketing, creative, media planning, social and mobile initiatives
The company also named Andrew Terry as its svp/merchandising for appliances. He joined hhgregg in July 2015 from LG Electronics USA where he served in various positions including director of sales and national accounts manager.
Mabelle Lim is hhgregg’s new vp/merchandising for home décor. Lim, who joined hhgregg in July 2016, previously served as DMM at Pier 1 Imports. Prior to Pier 1, she held multiple roles for Arhaus Furniture and Storehouse Inc.
Rounding out the new appointments is Matt Phillips, svp/merchandising for electronics. Joining the company in July 2016, he previously worked for Groupon with oversight of consumer electronics. Prior to Groupon, Phillips spent eight years at Best Buy where he held multiple merchandising roles.
