The High Point Market Authority is preparing its Keynote Series speaker lineup for the fall market, which will be held October 13 to 17.
All sessions will take place in the High Point Theatre, located in the market’s main Transportation Terminal. Doors open 30 minutes prior to each session.
The first Keynote Series session, slated for Saturday, October 13, at 3 p.m., features Sue Wadden, director/color marketing for Sherwin-Williams, and Jaye Anna Mize, vp/home and interiors for Fashion Snoops, reviewing macro trends that will influence home decor in 2019, 2020 and beyond.
Doug Stephens, a.k.a. The Retail Prophet, will discuss consumer connected shopping experiences as they may be created online or in store, on Sunday, October 14, at 3 p.m.
On Monday, October 15, at 3 p.m., Andrew Dent, evp/research and chief material scientist for Material ConneXion, will examine home environment and how innovations can be a counterpoint to the sterile glass screens that occupy so much consumer time. Dent’s presentation will coincide with the launch of High Point’s newest year-round resource, a Material ConneXion resource library.
“The High Point Market Keynote Series is valuable resource for attendees, offering relevant insights to help our buyers grow their own businesses,” said Tom Conley, HPMA president and CEO. “This season’s keynote speakers have decades of experience to share, along with topics to inspire, encourage and educate.”
