The High Point Market Authority will host educational and social programming at its pop-up meeting place, The Point, during the Fall High Point Market, October 19 to 23.
Located on Commerce Ave., between South Main and Wrenn streets, The Point has hosted celebrity meet and greets, educational roundtables, panel discussions, networking opportunities and the Parson’s Table Pop-Up lunch services, as well as functioning as an informational base.
The Point opens on Friday, October 18, at 11 a.m, and the programming is open to all market attendees, with continuing hours from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Saturday, October 19, through Monday, October 21, then 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, October 22. A team of market advisors will offer one-on-one consultations with event attendees requiring information or support. Market participants can drop in for information, specific events or to take advantage of the facility’s lounge area to regroup and recharge.
Programming begins with HPMA industry partner Steelyard hosting a networking and information-sharing event for designers attending market.
After Hours at The Point runs Friday through Monday evening during market and features wine and craft beer from the local Brown Truck Brewery as well as local food trucks. After Hours runs concurrently with industry mixers hosted by the Black Interior Designers Network.
