Homer Laughlin has unveiled its Fiesta Dinnerware brand’s 51st color at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market. Fiesta’s 2019 color is Meadow, a soft medium shade of green.
“Meadow is a soothing hue that complements a wide range of colors in the Fiesta color family,” said Rich Brinkman, vp/sales and marketing at Homer Laughlin. “It is a color that’s incredibly earthy and easy to live with.”
Meadow, he also noted, is a color style that can be used with a wide assortment of color combinations and home décor themes, such as Nautical, City Sophistication, Farmhouse Chic, Vintage Charm and Cool Breeze.
Pantone’s Leatrice Eiseman said of the new hue, “Fiesta’s new color, aptly called ‘Meadow,’ reminds us, in fact, of a fresh, fragrant meadow, a subtle shade of green that is an appropriate and tastefully appealing background to every color found in food and beverages.”
With the addition of Meadow, the company is retiring the Sage color. Sage was in production since 2015.
The company said it will make available standard dinnerware pieces in Meadow, including 3- and 4-piece sets, 3-piece bistro place settings, 3-piece classic place settings, and a variety of plates, platters, bowls, mugs, the signature disk pitcher, and serving pieces. Suggested retail pricing for the 4-piece place setting is $32.99 and $56. Presales for the new Meadow pieces will start May 1 and will be widely available by mid-June 2019.
