After 31 years of successful service to the industry, HomeWorld Business has ceased print operations, effective with the release of its December 14, 2020 edition. HomeWorld Business sister publication Gourmet Insider has ceased print operations effective with the release of its November/December 2020 edition.
HomeWorld Business digital media operations will continue under HomeWorldBusiness.com into 2021. Gourmet Insider digital media operations will close December 31, 2020, with the final e-newsletter from GourmetInsider.com scheduled for December 23, 2020.
Despite strong readership for both publications, business challenges created by the COVID-19 pandemic have amplified paradigm shifts in retailing and the industry to make this the right time to turn the page on a B2B publishing enterprise through which we have been proud to serve a valuable, innovative and resilient industry that is more vital today than ever.
We are forever grateful to the talented, dedicated employees who made HomeWorld Business and Gourmet Insider the most trusted media brands covering the business; to our many partners who helped us produce and deliver our products at the highest quality levels; to our faithful retail readers; and to the industry for more than three decades of support and partnership, especially the dozens of companies that rallied to give HomeWorld Business a chance by advertising in its first edition in September 1989.
