Houzz has appointed Richard Wong as the company’s first chief financial officer.
Wong will oversee all financial activities for Houzz and will help the company scale for its next phase of growth.
He joins Houzz after nearly eight years at LinkedIn, where he served as the company’s vp/finance and played an instrumental part in building out and running the treasury, investor relations, procurement and sales compensations teams, the company said. He was also involved in the company’s IPO, earnings announcements, and merger and acquisition activities.
Previously, Wong worked at Yahoo! Inc., Banc of America Securities, Lucent Technologies and JP Morgan.
“Rich’s experience scaling a substantial business with multiple revenue channels is particularly relevant to Houzz at our stage of growth,” said Adi Tatarko, Houzz CEO and co-founder. “We are excited to welcome Rich as we continue to grow as a company and strengthen our team and capabilities for the opportunities that lie ahead.”
