Hudson’s Bay has named Catherine O’Hara and Annie Murphy of Schitt’s Creek fame as its celebrity representatives for its new holiday campaign.
O’Hara and Murphy both walked away with trophies for their performances in the series at the 2020 Emmy Awards.
The Canadian actors will make their Hudson’s Bay holiday debut on November 2 via the Canadian retailer’s social channels, thebay.com and primetime television. As a traditional holiday retail destination, Hudson’s Bay aims to bring joy and merriment into the homes of Canadians during the season, the company stated. The two actors are said to embody the colorful spirit of Hudson’s Bay through their humor, enthusiasm and style.
To get a jump on festivities, Hudson’s Bay will unveil its Holiday Market six weeks ahead of schedule to generate some seasonal nostalgia. With an initial thebay.com launch on October 2 and in-store rollout October 5, the Holiday Market will offer Canadians the best assortment for holiday, Hudson’s Bay asserted, from gifts and decor to fashion and beauty, as well as cozy essentials for winter.
