Las Vegas Market has announced that six furniture, gift and home décor firms— Bison Book Binding, Cozy Nomad Designs, Dogberry Collections, Joybird Furniture, Karma Living, and Vital Industries— received Best Booth awards at the winter 2015 market. The show, which began on Sunday, closes today at the Las Vegas World Market Center.
The judges for the awards program were Jaime Derringer, founder and executive editor of Design Milk and Janette Crawford, head of expansion San Francisco at Homepolish, and founder and stylist at Sun + Dotter. Criteria they used in making their determinations included overall visual appearance, creative merchandising, cohesive brand messaging, and the overall personality and attitude of the booth.
“Las Vegas Market recognizes and congratulates the visual merchandising efforts of these six exhibitors, each of which is leading industry display and design innovation,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of Gift & Home Décor, International Market Centers. “As the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States, Las Vegas Market supports quality and distinctiveness in both temporary exhibits and permanent showroom presentations.”
