International Market Centers will expand its Market Snapshot to the Spring High Point Market and include a display of featured products after positive experiences introducing the program to the Atlanta Market and Las Vegas Market in January.
The product initiative will not only debut at High Point for the first time, but IMC also will expand it by building a display, which will present select finalist products in the front of the Suites at Market Square building.
Market Snapshot presents furniture and home décor products with an emphasis on items that are exciting, new, innovative and trendsetting, IMC stated. At High Point, it will appear on social media, in buyer communications and through the IMC High Point Market website. For each of the eight weeks leading up to spring market, six furniture and home décor products from IMC exhibitors will appear as finalists for the People’s Choice awards, two each from the furniture upholstery, furniture case goods and home décor categories, based on popular voting. Following two weeks of online voting, IMC will announce the winners on the opening day of market, April 25.
“After a strong debut in Atlanta and Las Vegas, we’re excited to introduce and expand this initiative in High Point,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC chief marketing and digital officer. “Through this program, we’re able to give buyers and designers an early look at some of the best new products showing at our market.”
The spring market runs from April 25 to 29 in High Point, NC.
