International Market Centers is setting up 90,000 net square feet of temporary gift and home decor exhibit space the company dubbed The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market for its upcoming furnishings and gift show. The Summer Las Vegas Market will stage The Pavilions in four categories— Design, Handmade, Home and Gift— even as it introduces a new segment: Discoveries: The Antique Vintage Marketplace, IMC announced.
The Pavilions will offer column-free exhibit space, 50-foot ceilings, single-level access, and a comfortable, climate-controlled environment, IMC stated. The launch of The Pavilions expands the Las Vegas World Market Center campus, with plans underway to facilitate cross-traffic between permanent showrooms and temporary exhibits. IMC will offer an expanded range of buyer amenities— including free grab-and-go breakfasts, greeters, special events and live music— adjacent to the transportation center, equidistant from the permanent and temporary venues, the organization added.
“This is the next big thing for Las Vegas Market, the first U.S. market to present temporary exhibits alongside permanent showrooms but in a dedicated and purpose-built trade show venue,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC president of gift and home decor. “This gives temporary exhibitors the opportunity to showcase their lines in a dramatic and easy to shop space, further strengthening and reinforcing Las Vegas Market’s position as the leading furniture, home decor and gift destination in the western United States.”
The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market will have its initial run from Sunday, August 2, to Wednesday, August 5.
