International Market Centers (IMC) has promoted Cain Brodie to general manager of the Las Vegas Design Center (LVDC), effective August 1. The design center is a collection of design-driven, open year-round showrooms located on the Las Vegas World Market Center campus.
Brodie is a 10-year member of the Las Vegas Market team and will report directly to Julie Messner, svp/furniture and home décor leasing.
In his new role, Brodie will oversee the strategic direction and management of the design center, including marketing, leasing, day-to-day operations, strategic partnerships, and events and programming. He will be responsible for creating an exceptional experience for the regional design trade that features a unique collection of relevant brands across furniture, fabric, lighting, floor coverings, wall décor, decorative accessories, and kitchen and bath.
“Cain is a talented industry professional with a passion for design and product that will help LVDC achieve its strategic goals today and in the future,” Messner said. “His knowledge of the industry in general, and the Las Vegas Market in particular, will help him to expand LVDC’s position as one of the top year-round design destinations in the Southwest.”
