IMUSA is highlighting its new copper light cast iron cookware collection at the International Home + Housewares Show.
With the new collection, the company noted that it is capitalizing on the copper looks that are trending in home and housewares design. In cookware, copper is continuing to trend upwards as the industrial chic design movement is growing and consumers are looking for a way to make an elegant, classic splash in the kitchen.
“Copper accents are on trend for 2016. The copper-gold hue we went with for the lightweight cast iron line is beautiful in itself, but also in line with what’s popping up in the kitchen. We are seeing this popular metal color accenting all things home décor, so we are thrilled to be incorporating this trending copper look into our IMUSA cookware pieces,” said Victoria Rodriguez, senior marketing manager, IMUSA USA.
The company will be launching two saute pans, in 9-inch and 11-inch sizes, as well as a 6.2-quart Dutch oven, and a 14-inch wok. All of the cookware is made of lightweight cast iron, which is produced by a casting process done by pressure. Additionally, the cookware in the line features a pre-seasoned interior.
