J.K. Adams has named Daniel Isaac as the company’s CEO, effective October 28. Interim president Bill Eyre will remain in his prior role as chief marketing officer.
Isaac’s experience includes executive roles at Pompanoosuc Mills, the Vermont-based manufacturer and retailer of fine furniture, where he has been vp/operations & logistics since 2016 and was vp/sales from 2012 to 2016. Isaac also held various management positions in the musical instrument, high-tech and computer components industries.
“I made a strategic decision to hire a CEO with deep expertise in the manufacturing, sales and business development of Vermont wood products,” said Malcom Cooper, Jr., owner and chairperson, J.K. Adams. “I believe the combination of Dan’s wood manufacturing and sales expertise at the helm and Bill’s marketing leadership as CMO will create exciting possibilities for J.K. Adams moving forward.”
Eyre was named interim president in July following the departure of former CEO Jon Blatchford. Eyre has been chief marketing officer at J.K. Adams since March 2018 and was a consultant to the business since early 2017.
