Jerdon Style has purchased Telegraph Hill Robes, a San Francisco-based manufacturer of luxury robes and accessories. The agreement was finalized May 5.
Bruce Grieve, president and CEO of Jerdon Style, said the company will immediately start making the line of robes and accessories available to both its hospitality and retail account base, worldwide.
Grieve also stated that Telegraph Hill Robes and its offerings are complementary to Jerdon Style’s portfolio of specialty bath and beauty products and will help the company leverage its reach further into the global hospitality and retail markets.
“It is a perfect product for the consumer market,” he said, suggesting that a luxury robe is a natural item found in a luxury bath environment, alongside items such as a cosmetic mirror, towel warmer and hair dryer, all of which Jerdon Style supplies.
“We are a specialty bath and beauty company,” Grieve said. “We are looking to stay focused in that segment of the market with higher-end products that serve that particular need and [Telegraph Hill Robes] couldn’t be a better fit for us.”
Telegraph Hill Robes, founded by Maria and Bob Spurlock, has been supplying its robes and accessories to the hospitality market for more than 15 years. In addition, its products are available to consumers via the company website. The company’s founders will work with Jerdon Style for a brief time, during a transition period.
