Jim Boscov Named CEO At Boscov’s

There’s a new Boscov in charge at Boscov’s.

Jim Boscov, the nephew of current CEO Al Boscov, has been named the regional department store chain’s new chief executive, according to a report by Morning Call.

Al Boscov, 85, will remain with the company as chairman.

Jim Boscov, 65, who most recently served as the retailer’s vice chairman, told Morning Call that he will work to keep Boscov’s “unique personality and culture.” He returned to the company in 2008, and before that was with the company for some 20 years beginning in the 1970s.
