Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores has promoted Megan Featherston, formerly svp/merchandising, to evp/merchandising and marketing. The company also has hired Amy Parker as svp/marketing and advertising.
Featherston will oversee the merchandising, marketing, Joann.com and business intelligence and analytics teams, the company noted. Before joining Jo-Ann in 2014, she was the evp/merchandising for Haskell Jewels.
Parker was the chief marketing officer for Pet Supplies Plus, the company noted, and prior, chief marketing officer for Sears Holdings Home division.
“Amy’s track record of developing strategic customer engagement tactics and implementing diverse marketing strategies is the winning combination Jo-Ann needs to continue to reach and serve our customers,” said Jill Soltau, Jo-Ann president and CEO.
Soltau added, “Megan is a talented merchant with extensive experience in creating strategic merchandise assortments, providing inspiration to a broad customer base, while driving relevance and a strong price value position. I am confident that these skills, coupled with her exceptional leadership, will enable us to achieve our strategic initiatives at Jo-Ann.”
