The new compact Jura ENA 8 is a one-cup automatic coffee machine that features 10 one-touch specialty coffees that are freshly ground, not capsuled, including espresso doppio and trendy flat white.
The unit comes in Metropolitan Black, Nordic White or Sunset Red, with a compact footprint. It features a new design element: an easy-grip cylindrically shaped water tank inspired by premium crystal carafes. It holds up to 37 ounces of water and is easily accessible on the side of the machine.
“The ENA 8 fills an important niche in the Jura range. It targets Millennials, city dwellers in small spaces, and luxury customers who want a second machine. It’s ideal for small offices or homes, college dorms or yachts. Plus, it pays for itself in savings over time versus capsule brewers or buying specialties at a coffee shop,” said David Shull, evp/marketing and communication, Jura.
The ENA 8 is also the first automatic coffee machine with a compact brewing unit plus the company’s patented Vacuum Clean (VC) technology, which after any beverage preparation pushes water through the internal systems to ensure that all coffee lines are free and clear.
The coffee machine is also compatible with Jura’s Smart Connect (sold separately) with Bluetooth communication, allowing it to be used with J.O.E. (Jura Operating Experience), an exclusive free app. With the app, the user can operate the machine from a smartphone or tablet— to personalize favorite beverages, initiate brewing, view maintenance instructions and videos, order filters and more.
The Jura ENA 8 coffee machine will be available for immediate shipping in April 2020, with an actual retail price of $1,899.
