Jura has promoted David Shull to evp/marketing and communications. Shull previously held the role of svp/sales and marketing. He reports to Richard Boynton, who was recently named chairman of the board and CEO of the company.
In the newly created executive position, Jura said that Shull will work with the international marketing team in Switzerland to lead new marketing initiatives to strengthen the brand in the U.S. and leverage emerging communications, technologies and trends.
In addition, Shull and his team are also responsible for product development and launches, brand messaging, point-of-sale, online marketing, retailer/sales support, training, national events, advertising, public relations, social media, trade shows and Jura showrooms, and a variety of other projects.
Shull began his tenure at Jura in 1996, as national sales manager for Capresso, a U.S.-based company then distributing Jura, which it now owns. Since joining, Shull has worked as vp/sales and marketing and svp/sales and marketing.
