Jura Rolls Out Redesigned E8 Coffee Machine

Jura is rolling out an updated version of its E8 automatic coffee machine. According to the company, the latest version of the coffeemaker is intended for greater ease of use and an expanded variety of specialties. It also features new design elements to enhance its look.

The E8 coffee machine now offers 16 specialties at the touch of a button. For the first time, these specialty coffee drinks include macchiato, espresso doppio and special coffee. There are also two hot water settings, one for green tea and one for black tea. The new special coffee button offers coffee lovers an additional programmable beverage option that can be programmed for twice the strength of the coffee button. When pressed twice quickly, the special coffee function will grind, tamp, brew and self-clean twice as a one-touch function.

Design-wise, a new chrome cup platform and distinctively grooved water tank are two of the new enhancements. The modern thin-film-transistor (TFT) color display is designed to make operation easy and intuitive. The water tank, bean container and TFT display with all controls are accessible from the front of the machine to maximize ease of use, the company said.

Available now, the new Jura E8 coffee machine has a suggested retail price of $2,099 for the piano black version, while the chrome design carries a suggested retail price of $2,199.
