Jura Wins Good Design Award For Impressa Z9 Coffeemaker

The Jura Impressa Z9 One Touch TFT has won a 2014 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, the only independent museum of architecture and design in the United States.

According to the company, the Impressa Z9 One Touch TFT won based on multiple dimensions including cutting-edge design, concept, materials, construction, utility, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment.

Winners of the Good Design Award are displayed at www.chi-athenaeum.org and become part of the museum’s Permanent Design collection. The Impressa Z9 One Touch TFT will be displayed at the Chicago Athenaeum during the 2015 International Home & Housewares Show in March.

Among the features of the Impressa Z9 is a TFT color display allowing users to personalize their brew, six programmable beverage buttons that can be labeled, Jura’s exclusive fine foam technology and a 20-ounce stainless steel vacuum milk container that keeps milk cold for up to eight hours. The unit carries a retail price of $3,699.
