Kitchen electrics supplier Kalorik is teaming with New Age Electronics, with the latter serving as the former’s primary distributor.
The agreement covers Kalorik’s food preparation products, food processors, juicers, kitchen scales, mixers, slow cookers, toasters, water kettles and kitchen gadgets, as well as its “Emeril by Kalorik” kitchen electrics line, which Kalorik launched last year in conjunction with Chef Emeril Lagasse. The agreement was announced during the 2016 International Home + Housewares Show.
“Our agreement with Kalorik gives retailers new options in small appliances and allows them to meet the needs of the growing number of consumers looking to buy high-quality products for the home,” said Fred Towns, president, New Age Electronics.
New Age is a division of Synnex Corporation and is best known as a leading distributor of consumer electronics and gaming products and services.
“New Age Electronics has a proven track record of success in the U.S. retail channel and collaborating with them is an important step in expanding our reach and brand recognition in the U.S.,” said Uri Murad, CEO, Kalorik. “We will be able to reach more consumers by combining our products with New Age Electronics’ expansive network of retailers, strong customer relationships and ability to execute go-to-market strategies.”
In addition to the U.S. agreement, Kalorik is now available to Japanese retailers through Synnex Infotec in Japan.
