Kärcher is working with the Aurora Economic Development Council as it plans to move to a new regional North America headquarter facility in Aurora, Colorado, slated for opening in September 2019.
The new headquarters is slated to improve its U.S. operation’s footprint to ensure competitiveness and sustainable growth, the cleaning tool and appliance manufacturer said. The new 380,000 square foot facility will be company owned and designed.
The move will also position Kärcher to operate more effectively and efficiently in terms of production, distribution, quality and purchasing. It will also allow for improved customer experience with regard to quality, availability, visibility and support, the company said.
“Innovation is top of mind with Kärcher’s plan to optimize advanced manufacturing capabilities, with new technologies such as digital and automation where appropriate,” said Javier Gonzalez, CEO, Kärcher, region North America. “In doing so, it will also position us for future innovation and growth/expansion, not just the U.S. but globally.”
