Keurig Dr. Pepper has launched a new line of Keurig-branded coffeemakers that combine single-serve and drip coffee functionality in one unit.
The K-Duo assortment includes several brewers that offer varying features at several pricepoints.
“Through our research and insights efforts, we learned consumers wanted versatile brew options from one coffeemaker on their countertop to serve different coffee occasions, such as everyday morning routines, group entertaining or a date night,” said Andrew Loucks, president, Keurig appliances at Keurig Dr. Pepper.
Dual units have been seen in the marketplace in recent years with several suppliers including Hamilton Beach and Cuisinart offering coffeemakers that combine single-serve and automatic drip.
Among the features offered on the K-Duo unit is Smart Start, which allows the coffeemaker to heat then brew in one simple process. Other features include Pause and Pour, which allows consumers to pour a cup during the brewing process, and a large single water reservoir.
The three units in the line include the K-Duo Essentials for $99, the K-Duo unit for $169 and the K-Duo Plus for $229.99.
