Amazon is connecting with nearly 20,000 U.S. small and medium-sized businesses through its new Amazon Storefronts.
According to Amazon, Storefronts allows consumers to shop a variety of businesses that offer a cross-section of products such as kitchen, home, back-to-school, holiday, pet supplies and books.
“We’ve created a custom, one-stop shopping experience for customers looking for interesting, innovative and high-quality products from American businesses from all across the country,” said Nicholas Denissen, vp/Amazon.
Among the features of Storefronts is a curated collection covering more than 25 product categories, a weekly feature highlighting one of the businesses connected to Storefronts and a feature showcasing business owners.
To support the launch of Storefronts, Amazon is unveiling its first-ever national TV commercial featuring real businesses that sell on Amazon. With more than a million small and medium-sized businesses in the U.S. selling on Amazon, the ad will offer a glimpse into a real business on Amazon.
