KitchenAid will serve as a sponsor for two upcoming food events —the September 19–22 Feast Portland and the first annual Music City Eats: Nashville Food, Wine and Spirits Festival, taking place September 21–22. As part of its support for the events KitchenAid has outfitted complete kitchen stages for demonstrations by celebrity and local chefs.
“Portland and Nashville join Aspen, Austin, Miami and New York as hosts of KitchenAid-sponsored festivals that introduce new flavors, products and culinary techniques to home cooks,” said Beth Robinson, senior brand experience manager for KitchenAid. “We love it when attendees tell us they’ve been inspired to take on new challenges in their own kitchens.”
Over the course of four days, Feast Portland will give food and wine enthusiasts a chance to enjoy dozens of the region’s most celebrated wineries, breweries and artisanal food exhibitors. A KitchenAid display in the Oregon Bounty Grand Tasting will feature the Pro Line Series appliance collection and new Plumberry and Canopy Green colored stand mixers. The demonstration stage will be outfitted with the brand’s latest major and small appliances, including a convection double-wall oven with Even-Heat technology and commercial-style gas rangetop. Chefs scheduled to demonstrate their talents include Chris Cosentino, Gabriel Rucker and Jenn Louis.
Net proceeds from Feast Portland will be donated to Partners for a Hunger Free Oregon and Share Our Strength.
Music City Eats: Nashville Food, Wine and Spirits Festival
Making its debut this year, Music City Eats combines the talents and offerings of the nation’s top chefs, beer, wine and spirit purveyors with the Southern flavors of local farms and restaurants, set to the soundtrack of live music. During the two-day event, notable chefs including Giada De Laurentiis, Tim Love and Trisha Yearwood will cook their favorite dishes on fully-equipped KitchenAid demonstration stages.
Guests can also enjoy tastes from 25 of the region’s top restaurants and over 40 distinguished wine, beer and spirits exhibitors at the Flavors of Nashville Grand Tasting, and celebrate the music of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers at Petty Fest Nashville, a musical tribute hosted by the Kings of Leon and the Cabin Down Below Band.
