Kohl’s Corporation announced it will open its doors at 6 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, and announced a newly designed Kohl’s App to easier access its Yes2You Rewards program.
“Kohl’s will be the most compelling shopping destination for the entire family this holiday season with our strong portfolio of sought-after national and private brands, our extensive online assortment and a deep list of exciting products that are new to Kohl’s this year,” said Kevin Mansell, Kohl’s chairman, president and CEO.
“We are well positioned to deliver on our vision to be the most engaging retailer in America with our pioneering Yes2You Rewards program, the re-launch of our improved Kohl’s App that will enhance the customer’s mobile experience, faster ways to deliver online orders and, of course, our amazing store associates who are empowered to say ‘Yes’ and deliver the outstanding customer service we are known for,” he added.
New this year, customers who sign up for Kohl’s new Yes2You Rewards program will find extra savings every time they shop. Kohl’s Yes2You customers can earn even more value by earning points on every purchase.
Kohl’s Charge customers receive exclusive discounts 12 times per year and for a limited time only, customers will save at least 15% on their first day’s purchases when they open a Kohl’s charge. In addition, customers can combine their Kohl’s Charge discounts with the Kohl’s sale prices and special offers to maximize their savings, the retailer touted.
Kohl’s said that its customers will also find a “faster, friendlier” Kohl’s App launching just in time for holiday shopping on the go. The new design allows customers to browse and shop by category, manage and redeem their Yes2You Rewards points, and scan their Kohl’s Cash and savings offers to their mobile wallet to be used in-store at checkout.
For added convenience, Kohl’s will provide the option to buy items online and pick up in store at more than 100 locations. Customers picking up their purchase receive access to premier, designated parking spaces. Additionally, Kohls.com customers can expect even faster delivery on many of their purchases as more than 800 stores will have the ability to ship online orders from local stores in their area, according to the retailer. Kohl’s is also testing Google Express in select delivery areas where Google Express members can shop local stores online and get items delivered on the same day or overnight.
