Kohl’s Testing Wellness Market Concept

With consumers prioritizing their health and shopping for a more casual lifestyle, with a focus on active gear, apparel, home goods, and overall personal wellness, Kohl’s is piloting a new essential goods concept: Kohl’s Wellness Market.

The Wellness Market is a shop-in-shop experience that extends the retailer’s position of health and wellness into essentials, like personal care and cleaning solutions. With an initial pilot in 50 stores, as well as the ability for all customers to shop essential products on Kohls.com, the Wellness Market will make Kohl’s a convenient shop for customers’ wellness lifestyle needs, the company said.

The curated market will feature an assortment of products across home, beauty, personal wellness, baby and pet care, with an emphasis on products that offer clean, natural or sustainable attributes— meaning customers can pick up everything from vitamins and deodorant to baby wipes and cleaning supplies.

The Wellness Market pilot is just one component of Kohl’s strategy to further establish itself as a leader in active, casual and wellness lifestyle. The Kohl’s Wellness Market can be shopped in select stores beginning November 6.
