Kroger Expanding Workforce With Eye On Digital Growth

Kroger is creating new positions at its headquarters and store operations and is on the hunt for candidates with retail and digital and technology experience, the company said in a corporate press release.

As part of its Restock Kroger initiative, the company said it will invest an incremental $500 million in human capital over the next three years. The company is also working to “rebalance store associate pay and benefits” while also focusing on certifications, performance incentives, advancement opportunities and associate training.

“With so many recent changes in the retail landscape, we recognize there are talented individuals in our communities who may be searching for a new career with a new company,” said Tim Massa, Kroger’s group vice president of human resources and labor relations.
