Kroger Sets Executive Promotions

Kroger has set several executive promotions to support its Restock Kroger strategy and the company’s long-term growth, including a new president of Fred Meyer.

Mary Ellen Adcock, currently group vice president of retail operations, has been promoted to svp/retail operations, effective May 1. Joe Grieshaber, currently president of the Fred Meyer division, has been promoted to svp/merchandising, effective May 1. Robert Clark, currently svp/merchandising, has been named svp/supply chain, manufacturing and sourcing, effective May 1.

Kroger has also promoted several division presidents, including Dennis Gibson, currently president of the King Soopers division, who has been promoted to president of the Fred Meyer division, effective May 1. Dan De La Rosa, currently president of the Columbus division, has been promoted to president of the King Soopers division, effective May 1.

Marlene Stewart, currently president of the Houston division, also has announced her plans to retire from the company after 41 years of service, effective July 20. Joe Kelley, currently vp/special assignment, has been promoted to president of the Houston division, effective May 1.
