Kuhn Rikon has introduced the 3-in-1 Snips cutting tool, which includes a built-in bottle opener and a box cutter edge.
According to the company, the new cutting tool has self-sharpening, stainless-steel blades with a spring-loaded handle. The blades can cut fresh herbs and also cut through clamshell packaging or poultry bones. The tool can also be used as a box cutter when the shears are locked. The sharpened tip on the shears slices through packing tape, cardboard boxes and cable ties, the company noted.
The Snips cutting tool is made for left or right-handed use, with an ergonomically curved handle. The blades self-sharpen as they rub together during use, the company said, and a protective sheath is included for safe storage.
Kuhn Rikon’s 3-in-1 Snips cutting tool comes in red or black and has a suggested retail price of $25. It is available for shipping in August.
