Kyocera Wins Good Design Award For Ceramic Coated Cookware

Kyocera announced that the company’s ceramic coated cookware received a 2014 Good Design Award from the Chicago Athenaeum, an independent museum of architecture and design.

The award was given to Kyocera based on multiple criteria, including innovative design and concept, new technology, materials, functionality, energy efficiency and sensitivity to the environment.

Designed to perform on all cooking surfaces, the Kyocera ceramic coated cookware promotes even heat distribution and is made from a heavy-gauge aluminum material clad with a stainless steel base.  The line includes 8-inch, 10-inch and 12-inch offerings that feature a coating that creates a non-stick, scratch resistant surface that is oven-safe up to 400 degrees.
