As it builds its position on the e-tailer’s marketplace site, Lamps Plus will debut its first Amazon Live video as part of the annual Amazon Prime Day event.
Lamps Plus will launch its video on Tuesday, July 16 in the course of the now two-day discount-driven event, which begins on Monday, July 15.
The 10-minute video will feature interior designer Jennifer Farrell, who will appear in a room set to discuss top-selling 360 Lighting brand lamps and sconces. She will point out product features, provide interior design tips and discuss trends. Lamps Plus will answer Amazon customer questions live during the video run. The video will kick off on Amazon Live at 11 a.m. Pacific Time, 2 p.m. Eastern Time at amazon.com/live.
Angela Hsu, Lamps Plus svp/marketing and e-commerce, said, “Amazon’s event is the perfect opportunity for Lamps Plus to create our first video for Amazon Live. Filmed in our studio set, the video will show lighting products with an interior designer discussing features and uses, giving the customer more information for their journey. Last year, we were successful with our first video ads on Amazon during this annual sales event so we see a similar opportunity with our first Amazon Live video.”
