Lamps Plus Unveils Dunn-Edwards Color Infused Line

Trends in hue will brighten a Lamps Plus partnership with Dunn-Edwards Paints that includes the introduction of a new limited edition collection of the retailer’s Color Plus and Art Shade products.

The partnership also will generate a sneak peek at the upcoming Dunn-Edwards 2021 Color and Design Trends Report as revealed through Lamps Plus products representing five featured hues. Each year, Dunn-Edwards introduces a color range that forecasts trends for the coming year. Dunn-Edwards will reveal the full 2021 Color and Design Trends Report, spotlighting 60 colors, in mid-October. From the 2021 selection, Lamps Plus selected five colors based on current consumer home furnishings trends as relevant to lamp bases and shades.

The furnishings retailer identified the Dunn-Edwards Color Plus lamps as:

  • Marigold. A warm golden orange tinged influenced by floral tonality and abstract and postmodern art.
  • Wild Blue Yonder. A clear blue that offers serenity and lightness.
  • Burnt Almond. A deep burnt orange reflecting the color of fall leaves and evening sunsets.
  • Flower Stem. A light grass green signifying sustainability and nature’s omnipresence.
  • Rustique. A warm soft coral with sunrise and sunset infusions.

Lamps Plus will also offer seven Art Shade patterns in the five Dunn-Edwards colors as standalones or paired with matching Color Plus lamp bases. Three of the patterns are new and designed to complement the Dunn-Edwards trend colors. An additional new pattern features multiple Dunn-Edwards colors as applied to a lamp shade and pillow.

The partnership is the first between the two companies. Consumers can check out the new Lamps Plus Color Plus and Art Shade collection both on LampsPlus.com and at Lamps Plus stores.

“Our collaboration with Dunn-Edwards, a similarly highly regarded like-minded Los Angeles-based design retailer and manufacturer with a long successful legacy, brings both companies’ strengths together and will benefit customers’ homes with these new colors on our Color Plus table lamps,” said Dennis Swanson, Lamps Plus founder and CEO. “Our Color Plus table lamps and Art Shade lamp shades set a standard for color variety and quality. We see these colors rapidly growing in popularity among homeowners.”
