Las Vegas Market Boosts International Presence

Las Vegas Market said it has seen an increase in international visitors and exhibitors for the upcoming summer market, which is set to take place from July 31 to August 4 at the World Market Center. 

The market will include buyers from nearly 80 countries who have registered to attend, and more than 116 exhibitors from 20 countries showcasing their furniture, gift and home assortments, according to the company.

The largest number of international exhibitors are from Canada, with more than 51 companies. Other countries represented include Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Denmark, France, Germany, Guatemala, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Italy, Malaysia, Mexico, Nicaragua, Singapore, Turkey, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

Las Vegas Market is implementing a number of initiatives to welcome and cater to international buyers. The signature First Look trend program features market resources aligned with key themes, product vignettes and companion print guide will be simultaneously translated into Spanish. Las Vegas Market also will be presenting the Sherwin-Williams Colormix 2017 Color Forecast in Spanish. There will be a special International Buyers Lounge on the 11th floor of Building C, where a light breakfast and lunch will be served and Spanish-speaking interpreters will be available as needed. Las Vegas Market also will offer a Spanish translation of its popular “Market 101” video.
