Las Vegas Market has expanded its temporaries space, known as The Pavilions, with the addition of a second location. This has allowed for a 50% gain in temporary exhibit space for the winter 2016 Las Vegas Market, to be held January 24 to 28, at the World Market Center.
The expansion of the Pavilions into two locations allows for significant growth of the gift, home, handmade and design categories, which will be presented in Pavilion 1, as well as for considerable expansion of Discoveries: The Antique Vintage Marketplace, which will be featured in Pavilion 2. Approximately 430 exhibitors are expected to be featured in the two venues this winter.
“The Pavilions at Las Vegas Market are an important component of our overall strategic reorganization of the Las Vegas Market, which has become the leading buying platform for furniture, home décor and gifts in the western United States,” said Dorothy Belshaw, president of gift and home décor, International Market Centers.
Other highlights of the winter Las Vegas Market include continued expansion in the gourmet, housewares and casual/outdoor furniture categories; enrichment of better home décor offerings; and the enhancement of top furniture resources, gift and lifestyle vendors. Beyond exhibits, the Winter Las Vegas Market will present a variety of special events, educational programming and buyer amenities.
