More than 500 gift and home décor suppliers will be showcased in seven categories during the Winter 2018 Las Vegas Market, to be held January 28 to February 1.
The expansion into three Pavilions, totaling some 105,000 square feet of temporary exhibit space, makes sourcing and shopping more efficient for buyers with both expansion and segmentation of product categories, noted International Market Centers.
Pavilion 1 encompasses about 45,000 square feet and features the returning Gift and Handmade categories as well as the new Design Lifestyle category. Pavilion 2 comprises about 45,000 square feet, featuring the returning Home category, the new Design Home category and a newly segmented Discoveries: Antiquities category. The newly-opened Pavilion 3 will feature 15,000 square feet devoted exclusively to the Discoveries: Vintage, Global, Cash & Carry categories.
According to the show, leasing across all categories and locations has been brisk, with a number of notable new and returning companies confirmed for the winter market.
“Las Vegas Market has taken decisive action to accommodate the ever-increasing demand for gift and home décor temporary exhibition space, expanding into a third pavilion and showcasing products in seven categories, including Gift, Handmade, Design, Lifestyle, Home, Design Home and Discoveries,” said Terence Morris, svp/gift and trade show leasing, International Market Centers. “This expansion and segmentation of Las Vegas Market’s temporary exhibits creates an efficient and effective shopping environment designed to meet the needs of our steadily growing attendance base of retailers and designers.”
