The Las Vegas Market is partnering with more than 40 industry organizations from across the globe to provide special programming, tours, educational opportunities and networking events at the winter market, running January 27 to 31.
Among the new partners, Gail Doby, professional consultant and business coach for interior designers, will conduct a group interior designer tour at the Las Vegas World Market Center venue, which will meet with exhibitors, explore product lines and participate in a three-day business coaching session. Another new partner, the Kite Trade Association International, will bring 20 makers and designers of wind-related products to Pavilion One and gather with them from 5 to 6 p.m. on Monday, January 28 to “share the market” and discuss show finds.
Partner events also will include the Non-Profit Retail Symposium in collaboration with the Association for Healthcare Volunteer Resource Professionals, Museum Store Association and Zoo & Aquarium Buyers Group, running from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, January 27 in the C1144 seminar room. As part of an earlier, related event, the Museum Store Association Pacific Northwest Chapter will co-host the Focus Your Product Selection for Profitability seminar from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on the same date in the Pavilion One seminar room.
In other partner events, Purchasing Power Plus, a hospital gift shop industry buying network, will host its second members-only breakfast at winter market, featuring vendor sponsors, while Wild Birds Unlimited will sponsor a two-day pre-market event with their Pacific Northwest Franchisees.
“Las Vegas Market is proud to partner with the industry’s leading trade and retail organizations to offer programming and events that are truly significant to their members,” said Dorothy Belshaw, IMC evp/chief marketing and digital officer. “Las Vegas Market is an ideal stage to connect professionals and forge relationships between these associations, buying groups and nonprofits.”
