According to show host International Market Centers, the just-completed Winter Las Vegas Market accommodated a record number of buyers and suppliers.
The market’s 4,300 resources, which included an influx of new, first-time and expanding exhibitors, fueled 13% gains in overall buyer attendance, with vendors reporting increases in order writing activity.
Buyers, designers and retailers from across the U.S. and from around the globe attended the show, with overall attendance expansion of 13%, as well as gains in key attendee categories. The furniture segment experienced the strongest market-to-market gains, with 17% attendance growth. The gift category registered attendance gains of 12% while attendance by home décor buyers grew 9%, and attendance by interior designers, architect and contract/hospitality buyers advanced 9%.
