Lasko Products, LLC, a leading developer, manufacturer and marketer of home environment appliance, has acquired air purification specialist Guardian Technologies, LLC.
Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
West Chester, PA-based Lasko, a portfolio company of Comvest Partners and its executive partner JW Levin Management Partners, markets products under the Lasko, Air King and B-Air brands.
Founded in 2002, Cleveland-based Guardian develops and supplies air purifiers, humidifiers, UV air sanitizers, essential oil diffusers, and HEPA filters under the GermGuardian, PureGuardian and PureGuardian Spa brands.
As part of the transaction, Guardian managing partners Dave Brickner and Rick Farone, along with the current Guardian employees, will continue with the company. “We are excited in partnering with Lasko to expand our reach and drive value for customers and employees,” Farone said. “Guardian is committed to developing innovative technologies to provide healthier air quality to consumers and will serve as a complement to the Lasko business.”
