The Legacy Companies has named Mike Linn president of its EdgeCraft, Chef’sChoice and Zeroll divisions. He succeeds Sam Weiner, who is retiring after more than 29 years with EdgeCraft.
“It has been my honor and privilege to serve as the president of EdgeCraft for many years, and for the opportunity to lead Zeroll over the past year,” said Weiner. “I’m incredibly proud of what we have accomplished and I look forward to hearing about the many achievements Chef’sChoice and Zeroll will make under Mike Linn’s leadership.”
Linn, who will be based at Legacy’s Avondale, PA, offices, has served in top-level executive positions at several companies including as CEO of Agaia, a Florida-based company that develops and sells a variety of natural cleaning products. He has also served as president and CEO of The Faucet Queens, president and CEO of Clean Brands and gvp/World Kitchen.
“Over the past year, Sam and I worked closely together and I’m grateful for the time he spent with me and our company,” said Neal Asbury, president and CEO of Legacy. “We feel Mike’s diverse management background and demonstrated people management expertise will be a valuable asset to our dedicated Avondale staff.”
In joining Legacy, Linn said he sees “many opportunities” to grow Chef’sChoice and Zeroll.
“My intention is to focus on the core business, accelerate product innovation, and drive domestic and international organic growth,” he said. “And, at the same time, evolving the division to be a brand driven culture that allows for acquisition integration.”
