Lenox has partnered with Kate Spade New York to launch a new line of kitchenware called “All In Good Taste” under the designer-label’s brand.
Kate Spade currently offers home products in tabletop and home decor, but the recent product launch marks the first time that Kate Spade will enter the kitchenware arena.
“Twelve years ago the brand entered the fine tabletop market and quickly became one of the top tabletop lines,” Trisha Dahms, vp, Lenox Brands & Kate Spade New York told HomeWorldBusiness.com. “We’ve decided to make the move from the dining and living rooms in to the kitchen with All In Good Taste.”
The line was designed to appeal to a broader customer base than the brand’s traditional bridal market, Dahms noted.
For tabletop, All In Good Taste includes a polka-dot pattern stoneware collection, as well as a solid colored cream, red, turquoise or navy pattern with a signature scallop accent. Other dinnerware include a new pattern called Pretty Pantry that features brightly colored watercolor-style food patterns, and glass drinkware.
The line also includes a number of gadgets, like cookie cutters and trivets, to acacia wood tools. Enamel-coated metal bakeware and enamel-on-steel cookware also fill out the line along with flatware and a 4-piece cutlery set. The line’s signature product, according to Dahms, is the Deco Dot tea kettle which is constructed of enamel on steel with stainless steel accents, including an engraved pour-spout that says “whistle while you work.”
