The U.S. Environmental Protection Agency has awarded LG Electronics the 2015 Energy Star Partner of the Year, Sustained Excellence Award. According to LG, it was awarded the honors for continued leadership in protecting the environment through energy efficient consumer electronics and home appliance products.
In addition, LG also earned the 2015 Energy Partner of the Year-Climate Communications Award for efforts to raise consumers’ awareness of the impact of climate change.
In 2014, the company offered nearly 300 Energy Star certified products in a range of categories including room air conditioners, clothes washers, dishwashers, refrigerators, TVs, computer monitors and LED lighting.

The 2015 Energy Star Partner of the Year, Sustained Excellence Awards are bestowed upon organizations to recognize their contributions to reducing greenhouse gas emissions through energy efficiency initiatives.
