The International Licensing Industry Merchandisers’ Association will name Cheryl Stoebenau, president of CAS Marketing, to the Licensing Hall of Fame. Her induction will take place on Tuesday, June 9, at the LIMA Licensing Awards ceremony during Licensing Expo in Las Vegas, the association announced.
Stoebenau began her licensing career in 1972 with Hallmark, moved to Coleco as executive director/licensing, working on Cabbage Patch Kids, then formed her own agency in 1986.
“Cheryl Stoebenau is a force of nature in the licensing industry,” LIMA president Charles Riotto, said in announcing Stoebenau’s induction. “She is an exceptional professional with decades of impressive success, and she’s been central to LIMA’s fundraising work supporting the Children’s Brain Tumor Foundation. She is simply second-to-none.”
