HIGH POINT, NC— Lighting suppliers at the fall High Point Market focused on trending style and a recognition that smaller is often better given the consumer preference for small space living.
Established lighting vendors have been expanding their product lineups to meet demand for more comprehensive presentations, largely in response to the growth of e-commerce. J. Hunt/Jimco has been developing new accent furniture styles in chests and consoles. At the fall market, hardware was a critical element in the company’s furniture designs with a new collection featuring pulls that had a large lotus form, enhancing the look.
In lighting, J. Hunt added new glass body styles in a range of colors as the company updated its table lamp collections for the fall market while also featuring various lamps that hit critical style trends including industrial looks.
LumiSource also featured new industrial-style portable lighting, featuring several floor lamps.
Among the featured collections at Adesso was one in line with the vendor’s initiative to provide coordinated lighting through a range of product types. With a distinct style, given the globular ball-of-string shade, the Havana pendant has an eye-catching look that still has a casual sensibility. Adesso matched it with the Havana arc lamp, one designed with a tight curve and drop fixture to ensure it fits in tight spaces.
