Lifetime Brands is hosting an Innovation Day on Monday, October 5, at the company’s headquarters in Garden City, NY. The free event will be organized by Open Innovation director Warren Tuttle and is designed to give housewares inventors the opportunity to pitch their products for the purpose of landing a licensing deal with the company, or to learn how licensing with a larger company works, Lifetime Brands said.
Programming will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will consist of educational events with speakers throughout the day featuring Lifetime Brands executives as well as special guest speaker Marc Portney of Science Channel’s “All American Makers.”
For those interested, there will be an opportunity to pitch their products to Lifetime Brands division heads and their teams. The company’s divisions include dinnerware and crystal, kitchen tools and gadgets, cutlery and cutting boards, cookware and bakeware, pantryware and spices, travel mugs and water bottles, flatware and metal giftware, home decor, food storage, and neoprene bags and accessories.
