Lighting Vendors Making Moves In Dallas

Besa Lighting is one vendor that will provide an example of innovation at the Dallas International Lighting Market from January 20-24.

In fact, a range of new designs and innovations offered by returning exhibitors will compete for attention even as new participants open showrooms for the first time.
As it approaches the Dallas market, Besa is acting on what it characterizes as “a new vision for adjustable mini pendants.” By employing clean minimalist design, Besa has created the XA series of low-voltage pendants that, the company stated, provide quick-connect functionality.
The XA series offers pendant hardware that makes upward and downward positioning easy for consumers who only have to press the ends of the cable adjuster. In doing so, purchasers release or lock the pendant to position it as they prefer.
Besa’s adjustable pendants can be used on their monorail systems or jacked into their variety of quick-connect canopies. The Besa glass XA series includes 14 mini-pendants. Hardware options include the XA for the adjustable pendant alone, the rail-ready RXA and the quick-connect monopoint canopy 1XA. Metal finishes offered include Bronze and Satin Nickel, and products ship with eight feet of braided cable.
The January lighting show will bring together thousands of new products from almost 300 exhibitors and include seminars, networking opportunities, and dedicated business information for lighting retailers, as well as “inspiration for the new year,” according to Bill Winsor, president and CEO of Dallas Market Center.
At the upcoming market, Alan Mizrahi Lighting, Authenticity Lighting, Avala Lighting, FlowDécor and Toshiba Lighting will debut new showrooms, while Edge Lighting, Ellington Fans, Bill Reiman, and Stylecraft Home will feature expanded spaces. In addition, at the January market, Desert Digs, Fanimation, Stein World and Uncommon Radiance will relocate.
