Lodge Cast Iron is cooking up a new collection. The cast iron manufacturer is giving retailers a look at its new Chef Collection at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show.
The Chef Collection is a line of cast iron cookware that is inspired by professional chefs. The pieces are foundry seasoned for an easy-release cooking surface, the company said. The pieces feature ergonomic handles for control and easy lifting. Additionally, the collection has spatula friendly-sloped sidewalls. For cooking on stoves and outdoor grills, the company noted that the griddle and grill pan were designed to fit those cooking surfaces.
The Chef Collection is made of open-stock items, including a 10-inch chef style skillet; a 12-inch chef style skillet; an 11-inch square grill pan; an 11-inch square griddle; a 3-quart everyday pan with a glass lid; and a 3.75-quart stir fry skillet. The cookware line ranges in suggested retail price from $26.95 to $69.95.
