Lowe’s has promoted Marci Grebstein to chief marketing officer, effective immediately. Grebstein most recently served as vp/advertising, leading the U.S. advertising strategy and marketing operations to build loyalty for the retailer.
She will report to Michael Jones, chief customer officer, and succeeds Thomas Lamb, who has left the company.
Grebstein joined Lowe’s earlier this year and has more than 20 years of experience leading brand, marketing, advertising and e-commerce strategies for large retail companies, including Food Lion and Staples. She will be responsible for managing the Lowe’s brand by overseeing the integrated marketing and communications strategy to consumers, including digital marketing, content strategy and development, consumer relationship management, advertising and media for the U.S. home improvement business.
In addition, Erin Sellman has been promoted to svp/strategy, insights and planning responsible for corporate strategy, consumer insights, and the planning and process organization. She will also report to Jones.
Sellman joined Lowe’s in 2004 and most recently served as vp/strategy and insights. She also has served as vp/strategy and alignment, director of corporate strategy and director of new market development.
