Lowe’s is teaming up with Daymond John to introduce “Making It… With Lowe’s,” a nationwide, virtual search to bring products made by minorities, women, veterans, people with disabilities and those in the LGBTQ+ community to customers online and in-store nationwide.
Lowe’s is looking for products that can create the largest impact for customers in their homes, such as microban or antimicrobial, accessible home and touchless products. Through the initiative, Lowe’s will offer hundreds of diverse suppliers the chance to reach consumers as well as to engage in mentorships with Lowe’s executives and more.
The supplier search will culminate in a one-day, virtual diversity pitch challenge hosted by Daymond John where five business owners will introduce their products in person to a panel of Lowe’s executives. He will provide guidance to the business owners in advance of their pitches.
Potential participants can apply to the program through September 25 at Lowes.com/MakingItWithLowes.
