Luigi Bormioli has debuted Lock Eat, a line of canning and preserving jars, which also can be used as storage and serveware.
The new collection features removable glass lids, so that the items can be used in the microwave and dishwasher. The glass, natural rubber gasket and stainless steel clamp are all made in Italy.
“I am so impressed by the advances that Luigi Bormioli’s Lock Eat jars bring to the community of canners and preservers of the food world. The totally removable glass lid allows for a more eco-friendly and better experience. Luigi Bormioli pushes the design to create and elevate a traditional concept,” said Kim Goodwin, marketing manager, Luigi Bormioli.
Boldly designed packaging communicates the collection’s advantages as well, the company said. Suggested retail prices for the Lock Eat canning jars range from $6 to $12.
